No. When you use a tool, the file stays on your computer. We do not run a file-upload service for these tools. We do not receive the file contents.

This policy is for SW Commercial at https://sw-commercial.com and for our other sites under sw-commercial.com. We call those the Sites.
SW Business (“we”) runs SW Commercial. Client-side means a tool runs in your browser. We built the tools so your files do not need to be sent to us.
1. Files and tool processing
When you use a tool, the work happens in your browser. Examples: PDF merge, image compress, OCR.
- We do not run a file-upload service for these tools.
- We do not receive the contents of files you open in them.
- If a product saves drafts, it uses storage in your browser (for example localStorage) on your device.
2. Information we may collect
- Server logs. Our host or CDN may record IP address, browser type, URL, and time. This is to run and protect the Sites.
- Analytics (optional). If enabled, we may use a cookieless analytics tool (for example Plausible) for page counts. It does not use advertising cookies.
- Ads (optional). If Google AdSense is on, Google may use cookies to show ads. This can include limited ads where the law requires it. See Google’s policies.
- Purchases. If you buy a Pro license, Polar handles checkout. Polar is the merchant of record. Polar’s privacy policy covers payment data. Example: SW Toolbox Pro.
3. Cookies
Core tools do not need an account cookie. If ads are on, ad partners may set cookies. You can block cookies in your browser. Local rules may also apply.
4. SW Toolbox browser extension
SW Toolbox is a Chrome extension. It processes files on your device only.

5. Children
The Sites are not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Do I need an account?
No. Free tools work without a login. We do not require an account cookie for core tools.
Who sees my payment if I buy Pro?
Polar Software, Inc. is the seller and merchant of record. Polar’s privacy policy covers card data. We do not store your card number.
